(Soleto, July 23-27, 2018)
Lecture Rooms, Buildings and Squares
Also for the 2023 edition of the Summer School and Workshop, "Experimetrics & Behavioral Finance", all lectures and classes will be held in the historical center of Soleto (as shown in the pictures of the 2018 edition), more precisely at:

1) Atrium Kircherianum: evocative, elegantly furnished 15th-century mansion (built between the 15th and 18th centuries), it was the home of the Byzantine Carrozzini priestly family. It is a typical Salentine court house with large terraces overlooking the ancient village. In this ancient historic home, students can experience local lifestyle between cultured memory and oral tradition cultures.

2) Convent of the Sanctuary "Madonna delle Grazie". Attached to the church, the convent was built to host the Franciscan fathers (called "Reformed Fathers") who had been there since 1602. The convent has several classrooms of historical interest used for lectures. In addition to the convent, the municipality donated to the friars a surrounding plot of land cultivated as a vegetable garden and orchard and of which a part known as "the Convent Garden" remains today and will be used for students' groupworks.

3) Main Squares of the Old Town. Keynote speeches will be held outdoors, after the sun goes down, in the small squares of Soleto's historic center, amid the mighty walls from the 8th-7th centuries B.C. and narrow cobblestone streets. An important Messapian settlement, the historic center of Soleto has long been the subject of archaeological excavations that have unearthed priceless finds such as the "Map of Soleto," the oldest known document of geographical analysis in the West.
